Born in the family of Vets spanning for almost four generations, Tejashree’s decision of becoming a vet too happened at a very young age. Her family is proudly mentioned in the India Book of Records for their prodigial legacy of veterinarians. Her affection towards pets grew when she started visiting her fathers vet clinic when she was just 4 years old. Tejashree spent a lot of time working with her father at Miraj Polyclinic, where she observed him working with animals in different villages.
Upon completing undergraduation from College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Udgir in 2018, Tejashree went on to do her masters in Veterinary Microbiology from KNP College of Veterinary Science, Shirwal in 2021. Although she chose microbiology for her post-graduation, her heart was always set on clinical practice. After working as a Virologist at Poultry Diagnostic and Research Centre, Loni Kalbhor for a year or so, she worked at a private clinic in Pune for 7-8 months before turning to The Eye Vet for specialization.
