Dr. Ritika’s love for animals was sparked at a young age. Her aunt, a doctor, inspired her to pursue a career in the medical field. But when a puppy was brought into her family, her path quickly changed.
She decided to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine and ultimately graduated from Jabalpur Veterinary College in 2015. After completing her Masters in Gynaecology from the College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Mhow, she attended surgery training from WVS ITC and volunteered with an Australian NGO, ‘Vets Beyond Borders’.
Dr. Ritika moved to Pune to work at a busy general practice for a year. However, she wanted to study more and specialize. In December 2019, Dr. Ritika joined The Eye Vet and has since been an invaluable asset to the team. Her warm and friendly demeanor, her love for animals, and her willingness to go above and beyond for her patients and their parents have made her an instant hit. Dr. Ritika is an exceptional clinician and a talented surgeon.
She loves to explore new cultures and countries and experience different cuisines.
