Dr. Lavanya Badda

From her small village in Pondicherry to the advanced fields of veterinary medicine, Dr. Lavanya’s journey has been nothing short of inspiring. As a young girl, she was fascinated by the resilience of a cow giving birth to a calf, and it was then that she knew her path was set.
She completed her BVSc from Rajiv Gandhi Veterinary College, Puducherry, and later did an externship in CVM, Kansas State University. It was during her Masters at Mannuthi, Kerala, that Dr. Lavanya discovered her true passion, ophthalmology. Her research, ‘Ultrasonographic ocular biometry for the diagnosis of various ocular affections in dogs’ further entrenched her in this field.
Finally, she joined TEV in April 2021 and her attention to detail, her excellent diagnostic and surgical skills, and her ability to stay calm under pressure make her a perfect team member.
When not at work, Dr. Lavanya loves to explore her creative side through painting. Her journey from Pondicherry to TEV is a testament to her hard work and determination, and an inspiration to all those who aspire to make a difference.
