AiSVO Conference, Tokyo, Japan

Dr. Kasturi recently attended and presented at the AiSVO (Asian College of Veterinary Ophthalmology) meeting in Tokyo Japan, which was an exceptional conference featuring outstanding presentations and, most notably wonderful lectures by Dr. Ron Ofri on retinal studies.

Beyond the enriching conference sessions, it was a pleasure to reconnect with old friends and form many new connections. A highlight of the trip was the opportunity to spend time in the clinic of the renowned Dr. Akihiko Saito, who holds the world’s highest success rate in Ahmed valve surgery for glaucoma. Dr. Saito generously shared invaluable insights into his techniques, making the experience truly unforgettable.

The entire trip was a testament to the warmth of Japanese hospitality—a memorable and enriching journey!
